100% Cotton (160GSM) - Twill Weave
What is twill?
Twill is a type of fabric weave characterised by its diagonal rib pattern. This pattern is created by interlacing the warp and weft threads in a specific manner. Because twill is a weave pattern rather than a type of fabric itself, it doesn't inherently have a thread count.
Thread count typically refers to the number of threads woven together in a square inch of fabric, commonly used to describe the fineness of plain weave fabrics like percale or sateen. In contrast, twill's unique structure focuses more on the strength and texture created by the diagonal weave rather than the density of the threads. Therefore, when assessing the quality of twill fabric, factors like the weight, type of yarn, and weave tightness are considered more relevant than the thread count.
